I’m sure I was drawing and painting before I could walk and I am still in love with it today.

I was born and raised in the small town of Blackwood in the South Wales valley’s.

After leaving Pontllanfraith Comprehensive school, I followed the much trodden path to Crosskeys College and gained a Btec National Diploma in General Art & Design

before eventually graduating with a BA Hons Degree in Design for New Media from

the University of Glamorgan. Whilst on this course I developed an interest in all

aspects of graphic design, including vector illustration, which I enjoy immensley,

(after all, your still creating) but nothing has dampened my love for the traditional

ways and techniques of paint, pencil and pen etc.

I am not an artist who has developed one particular style, use one specific medium,

or concentrate on one subject matter. Saying that I specialise in any particular area

is impossible, I just have a passion to create something spirited and arresting no

matter which medium I use. The soul or mood of a portrait or scene is by far the most important aspect of any piece and is something I try to capture in every

painting or drawing I create.
